For our tiny house this semester, at the request of Dr. Hartel, we are making it handicap accessible. This will require quite a few modifications to the plan, especially from the past two houses. To fit regulation, our house will have two entrances, one on the side of the house and the other leading in to the front of the house. The front entrance will have a ramp leading up to it. Another code we have to account for is the larger bathroom space. The bathroom has to be large enough for a wheelchair to turn completely around inside of it, about five feet by five feet.
