This week, we shifted to working on the interior. We are installing a pre-finished hardwood, then bringing in the cabinets, appliances, and various other finishing touches. One of the challenges of using a pre-finished floor is that since we are still in the construction process, we have to protect the floor from scuffs and other damage. In order to do this, we gradually lay down the purple paper over completed sections, and then cover that with a large piece of cardboard.
