While normally our class splits into two sections to work on the house, we all went down to the house to talk about it last week. Our whole class stood inside the house to admire our work so far. One big change that neither group was there to witness was having our walls and roof sprayed with spray foam insulation. We discussed the differences in insulation types and why spray foam was the best choice for ours. A main reason spray foam is the best choice is because we do not have normal spacing within our walls and fiberglass insulation comes in premeasured pieces. We needed the spray foam to be able to get into every nook and cranny. With our insulation being done, we are one step closer to our tiny house becoming a home away from the outdoor elements! We can’t wait!
