As my last semester as an undergrad comes to an end, I’ve been ruminating things and want to offer a final submission to the blog. I hope the audience has enjoyed our post of our challenges and successes. My group with Jenna and Joel offered out proposals for the next tiny house during our last day of class. Shown below is the plan view of our proposal.
It requires some initial figuring out and tinkering, but the website floorplanner.com allows anyone to design your own floor plans in both 2D and 3D. This is a nice tool for people who don’t have access to AutoCAD. You can make a tiny house plan, but the site is intended for modern sizes and amenities. http://www.floorplanner.com/
With a big nod to my classmates using AutoCAD and SketchUp, I’ll say that I was really impressed with their design proposals for the next tiny house. Congratulations to everyone with whom I had the fortune of sharing this class for your great work and fun company. Courses like this are vital assets in getting students to learn about the satisfaction of building something with our hand sand gain confidence in doing it.
